I was honored to be asked to participate in this show at this lovely large gallery space along with some friends and wonderful accomplished artists, Marlene Wiedenbaum, Lynn Friedman, Melissa Harris and former student, Jane Birmingham. I will have about 12 pieces in the exhibit including landscapes, still lives and leaf portraits. Unfortunately, the timing of the opening is the same night as the book launch event below, so I plan to be at the first half of the opening from 5-6:30 and then in New Paltz event from 7-8pm.

Book Launch Party for "Trailside Register"
Poetry by Richard Parisio with illustrations by Mira Fink

I was honored to be asked to illustrate Richard Parisio's poetry book, "Trailside Register" which has just been published by Bushwack Books. The book has artwork I created for specific poems and includes a watercolor on the cover and five black and white pen and ink illustrations inside. It is a beautiful book with poems and artwork that reflect both Richard's and my own deeply felt connection to the natural world.

The book is now available in a number of independent bookstores in the Hudson Valley, including Inquiring Minds in Saugerties, Chickory Naturalist in Kingston, Postmark Books in Rosendale and other locations coming soon. It can also be ordered here: Trailside Register: Poems by Richard Parisio

Quiet Moments: Solo Exhibition
Watercolors of the Shawangunks

Gallery is open 9am-5pm every day.

After the success of last year's exhibit, I was asked to do another solo show! This one will feature only watercolors and many of these are brand smacking new paintings that are being shown for the first time. The paintings portray some of my favorite views in the Shawangunks and reflect the deep sense of peace and connection that I feel when visiting these special places. Please come see it!
