Artists in the Garden at the Beatrix Farrand Garden

Location: FDR Historic Site, 4097 Albany Post Rd. , Hyde Park, NY
Date: Saturday, August 29th, 2026
Time: 10am - 5pm

I will be doing a painting demonstration in the garden in the morning. There will be artists demonstrating all day in the garden. (Weather permitting). Also, I will be participating in the juried exhibit of art inspired by this garden at the Wallace Center in the FDR visitor center. Go to the FDR visitor center and you will be directed to the exhibit and then take a short walk down a path to the garden gate to enter the garden. It's a beautiful garden in all seasons. I have taken my classes to paint there for many years.

Gardens and Landscapes Group Exhibition

Exhibit Location: Woodstock Playhouse, 4 Playhouse Ln, Woodstock, NY
Opening Reception: June 7, 2026, 3-6pm
Exhibit dates: June 7th- Sept. 6th, 2026

I will have 4 paintings in this exhibit of fantastic Hudson Valley artists. The show will be up from June 7th- Sept. 6th and can be viewed anytime there are events at the Woodstock Playhouse.

Publication: "Trailside Register"
Poetry by Richard Parisio with illustrations by Mira Fink

I was honored to be asked to illustrate Richard Parisio's poetry book, "Trailside Register" which has just been published by Bushwack Books. The book has artwork I created for specific poems and includes a watercolor on the cover and five black and white pen and ink illustrations inside. It is a beautiful book with poems and artwork that reflect both Richard's and my own deeply felt connection to the natural world.
